Mixed Fresh On-Site

Volumetric Concrete in Manchester & Cheshire

Concrete mixed fresh on your site to the exact grade and quantity — so you only pay for what you use, with nothing going to waste.

Volumetric concrete is mixed fresh at your location rather than batched at a plant and driven to you in a drum. Our volumetric wagons carry the raw materials — cement, aggregates, sand and water — and mix to your spec on arrival, giving you fresh, accurate concrete exactly when and where you need it across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the North West.

It’s a better way to lay. Because the concrete is made on the spot, none of it goes off in transit, you’re never tied to a fixed drum load, and we can adjust the mix or quantity on site as the job demands.

Why volumetric concrete

Only pay for what you use

We mix the exact amount the job needs and meter it — no part-loads, no minimum drum charge, no leftover concrete to pay for or get rid of.

Always fresh

Mixed on arrival, so it never starts curing in transit. You get full working time and consistent quality, even on hot days or long pours.

Any grade on demand

C10 through to C40, plus mortar, screed and specialist mixes — all from the same wagon, batched to BS 8500 spec and changed on site if the job calls for it.

No waste, no guesswork

Need a bit extra without paying for a whole extra load? If you need more mid-pour, we mix more. If you need less, you only pay for what came out.

Where volumetric concrete wins

  • Jobs where the exact quantity is hard to call up front
  • Several small pours from one delivery — different grades, no second wagon
  • Long or staged pours that would see drum-mixed concrete go off
  • Tight-access domestic jobs, paired with our free barrowing service
  • Anyone who doesn’t want to pay for concrete they don’t use

Volumetric Concrete — FAQs

What is volumetric concrete?

Concrete mixed fresh on your site by a mobile volumetric wagon, rather than batched at a plant and delivered set in a drum. It arrives as raw materials and is mixed to your spec on arrival, so it’s fresh, accurate and metered.

Is volumetric concrete cheaper?

You only pay for what you use, with no wasted part-loads and no minimum drum charge, so for many jobs – especially smaller ones or where the quantity is uncertain – it works out more cost-effective. Tell us the job and we’ll quote it.

Can you mix different grades from one wagon?

Yes – C10 to C40 plus mortar and screed, all from the same wagon, changed on site as the job needs. No second delivery required.
