A gas-tank base in Mobberley
One of the more unusual bases we’ve poured in Mobberley — a solid concrete anchor base for a new bulk LPG gas tank at a new-build home, with anchor plates cast straight into the slab.
Because the tank was going to be buried and backfilled with soil, it had to be strapped down so it couldn’t float. The volumetric base gives it fixed anchor points that hold it in place for good.
