A new build in Bramhall where the ground needed steel piles before anything else could go in. Once the piles were in, the next step was the oversite concrete.
The oversite gives the steelwork a solid base to go on top of. The plot was set out with string lines and steel reinforcement ready for the pour.
With the piling finished, the oversite concrete went down across the footprint, ready for the steelwork to follow.

Oversite is the layer of concrete laid across the footprint of a building, over the prepared ground or foundations. On this Bramhall new build it went down after the steel piles, ready for the steelwork to go on top.
