Concrete Pumping in Bramhall

Bramhall, Greater Manchester
Garden footing

Pumping concrete through a garden to one of our hardest-to-reach footings

Sometimes the hard part of a pour is getting the concrete to where it’s needed. On this Bramhall job the footing was at the far end of a garden, and there was no way to get a wagon anywhere near it.

So we brought the concrete pump in and ran the line through the garden and along the wall to the footing. It’s probably one of the most challenging footings we’ve concreted, and it still went in. Another happy customer in Bramhall.

Getting the pump to where the concrete is needed can be a task, but our experienced team always finds a way to help the customer, without barrowing load after load across their garden.

  • Footing with no access for the wagon
  • Pump line run through the garden to the footing
  • Concrete placed straight into the footing
  • No barrowing across the customer’s garden

Pumped Concrete Base for a Rear Extension in Bramhall

A large reinforced base for a rear extension in Bramhall — pumped in by Barrow Mix because the site access wasn’t good. With no clear route to the back of the house for a mixer, the concrete pump ran the mix over and around the property straight to the rear.

The reinforced base was prepped and ready, so we kept the concrete coming for a steady, continuous pour and finished it off to a clean, level base for the new extension.

Concrete pumping for extensions — FAQs

Why pump concrete for a rear extension?

When there’s no clear route to the back of the house for a mixer, a concrete pump runs the mix over or around the property to the rear — as on this Bramhall job where access wasn’t good. It keeps the pour steady and the site clean.

Can you reach a back garden with no side access?

Often, yes — a boom or line pump can place concrete over the house or down a narrow side return, so a landlocked rear extension base is no problem. Tell us your layout and we’ll advise on the right setup.

Do you supply concrete for extensions and reinforced bases?

Yes — ready-mixed and volumetric concrete for extension bases, footings and reinforced slabs across Bramhall, Stockport and Greater Manchester, with pumping arranged where access needs it.

Do you cover Bramhall and Stockport?

Yes — we supply and deliver concrete across Bramhall, Stockport and Greater Manchester. See our Bramhall ready-mix concrete page for more.

Can you pump concrete to a footing at the far end of a garden?

Yes. A line pump runs the concrete through the garden to the footing, so nothing is barrowed across the lawn. Ours runs up to 70m. On the Bramhall garden-footing job above, the line went through the garden and along the wall to a footing the wagon couldn’t get near.
