55m³ of concrete for two new builds in the Oldham area. Before we could concrete the footings, the site had to be piled and a ring beam put in.
With the reinforcement and formwork ready, we brought in the boom pump. Our wagons fed the pump’s hopper, and the boom placed the concrete along the footings while the crew worked it in.
On a site like this a boom pump gets the concrete straight into the footings from one spot, so nothing has to be barrowed across an uneven site.
